My house was built in 1910. The kitchen cabinets are original. I decided to strip them down to wood and found 6 layers of paint with a stain from 1910 on the bottom layer. Very sticky! GREENEZ stripper along with the cleanser enabled me to get it all in 1 cycle with minimal sanding. The upper cabinet doors are the results. The lower is where they started. No smell, no harm and vegan. It was gentle on this very old wood. I will never use anything else.
We have stripped the top surface of a 1990s dining room table down to the bare mahogany and it’s really beautiful. I’m so impressed with this product. While I really never intended to refinish furniture, and I’m not even really an amateur for this, it was so easy and fume free and mess free that I would absolutely do it again! This is the only product I would ever use

Amazing product! I needed to strip a terrible top coat off of our butcher block countertops. Originally we used a food grade topcoat (a different brand) and I got pretty impatient with it and rushed the process. Ultimately, it turned out sticky and thick. We never liked it and I honestly thought we made a big mistake by installing butcher block (even though I knew where I went wrong when applying it). Anyhow, I had been researching how to get it off without using chemicals or sanding to death. I found your product and I am so happy I did. It was simple and easy to use and I had this finished in no time. We ended up using a butcher block oil on it and skippied a top coat. We're absolutely in love with them now! Thank you!
The item looks great but because some of the liquid spilled I’m unable to read one of the bottle labels or directions which is frustrating. Exited to use the product tho! I will update

I love this stuff. I saw this product on a youtube video. I was so disappointed on the last time I tried to strip anything with the "orange" stuff. California makes this tough because of governer Nuisance. Anyway, this product actually works. I applied this to a Mid-Century credenza that my dad ruined with some varnish/stain combo stuff. It sort of looked purple. Why? Anyway, this piece if from my childhood and I've wanted it for a while. I put it on with a cheap brush and wrapped it in plastic wrap. I used a furniture scraper after a day and then I used steel wool with some elbow grease. The clincher was the cleaner after the stripper. I did it twice with steel wool the first time, and wiped it. Worked amazing. The piece turned out better than I hoped. I would say the only drawback was the shipping for the product. Plan on a good 10-14 days. But that has nothing to do with the product. And we didn't have to wear gloves unless we wanted to. Isn't that amazing. No aweful fumes and goo to dispose of.

I bought painted vintage night stands that are 💯 wood and I was having trouble sanding down to bare wood. I decided to try GreenEZ after a furniture influencer used on a video for furniture flipping . I was able to remove the paint and the original paint finish! I used a credit card to remove paint gunk. Also to prevent scratches to wood. The product worked within minutes. I was amazed with the effectiveness of the product!

This is my grandmother's bedroom furniture - real mahogany and approximately 150 years old. It had 2 thick layers of paint that the first layer was about 75 years old and the 2nd was about 20 years old. The 2nd layer was painted because we couldn't get the first layer of paint to strip off with anything we tried. GreenEz was so incredibly simple - i couldn't stop smiling the whole time! Using plastic wrap made it even easier! The half gallon went very far too! I was able to do the main dresser and still have enough left to do the night stand and mirror. Easy clean up. No fumes. No gloves. No masks. It was awesome! And it should be noted, I never leave reviews on products - but this was one I had to do!

The kit was so easy to use. It was also so easy to clean up afterwards. The stripper had a really nice smell and not a toxic one I was expecting. The product also worked really quickly which was a bonus.
I liked how quickly the first solution removed large chunks of paint and kept the original finish of the piece showing underneath the paint. I did not like that the second step stripper was extremely harsh and removed the original finish from the piece which meant I had to start from zero with sanding and trying to find a matching stain to the original. I don’t feel like there is enough video or in-writing documentation of just how strong the second step spray stripper is.

We highlight this on our website description, as most users want the Finishing Cleaner used conjuctively with an abrasive sponge or 0000 steel wool to remove not only stripper residual, but underlying remaining varnish and stain as well. If the existing stain is to be saved, you can remove stripping residual by diluting the Finishing Cleaner up to 3 parts wtih water, apply lightly and use a soft sponge or rag. The Finishing Cleaner is not a stripping compound, but a very effective detergent, that is safe and biodegradable. We do recommend wearing gloves, as it is a skin irritant. Lastly, please be aware that unsealed stain is suceptible to blotching, resulting in an undesirable color uniformity. Also, the majority of the varnish under the paint is most often stripped off during the paint stripping process. We take all reviews seriously, and will further highlight this fact on our application guidelines. Didn't seam to work at all when it was super hot outside (100°) but when it was closer to about 85 it worked lovely.
I’ve used many other paint stripping products and none of them were as effective as GreenEz. Not only does this stripper out perform the others, the odor is not overwhelming and it is non-toxic. This is making the daunting task of stripping years of paint off the woodwork in my 1800’s home so much easier than I ever imagined.
I’ve been restoring furniture for a number of years and have tried many products. I’ve waited to purchase and I sure wish I hadn’t. I completed a big 2 piece hutch with this product and I was amazed at how well it works. I will definitely be using only this in the future. Highly recommend

This is by far the best product I have used to remove - goo - old grim and straight strip furniture. I wish the plastic wrap directions would have been very clear.. I gave it 5 stars but it is more expensive and knowing the tricks would have been nick. I have used it on 4 items and have a little left. It also removed a water mark very well. So biggest negatives - lack of clear instructions- I was scared to leave it on so long. The spray can also be diluted but no separate spray bottle. So of course I grab and just spray. Both products would have went further if I had all the instructions clearly and an extra spray bottle. Yes they are cheap - but needs a special plastic so a special trip to the store. This would be a product I would sell. Expensive- but if I would have known the plastic wrap option I could have saved a lot of money and time.

Is it safe to use indoors with kids and pets around?
Yes. Our soy-based formula is non-toxic, low-VOC, and contains zero NMP or methylene chloride. We still recommend keeping children and pets out of the immediate work area during application. Standard best practice for any project.
How long does it take to work?
Latex, oil & chalk paint typically lift in 50–60 minutes. Polyurethane, lacquer and epoxy need 5–8 hours. You'll see the finish bubble or visibly soften when it's ready to scrape.
Will it work on vertical surfaces like cabinets?
Yes. The gel formula clings to vertical surfaces without dripping. It's specifically designed for cabinets, doors, banisters and chair legs.
Do I need to sand after stripping?
For best paint or stain adhesion, light sanding to 220 grit is recommended. After using the included Finishing Cleaner to neutralize the surface, many customers refinish directly without sanding.
Will it remove wood stain?
The stripper alone won't fully lift stain. That's what the Finishing Cleaner is for. Apply Finishing Cleaner over stained sections, let dwell 15–30 minutes, then scrub with fine steel wool.
What's the difference between the Kit and the Deluxe Kit?
The Deluxe Kit adds the safety gear and tools you'd otherwise buy separately: a 3M particle mask, two pairs of biodegradable nitrile gloves, safety goggles, a scraper, and three application brushes. Worth it if you don't already have these on hand.
