COLOR SHIELD
A water-based, color-enhancing sealer that protects concrete and pavers from stains, moisture, and wear.
OVERVIEW
The water-based sealer that makes concrete and stone look new again.
Color Shield™ enhances the natural color of concrete, brick, stone, and pavers while forming an invisible, long-lasting barrier against water, oil, grease, and stains. One application restores surfaces to their richest, most vibrant tone.
- Deep-penetrating formula — bonds to concrete, brick, and stone
- Water-repellent barrier — beads water off the surface immediately after sealing
- Grease & oil blocker — prevents vehicle drip and outdoor cooking stains
- Color-enhancing — intensifies natural tones without altering surface character
- Non-slip properties — adds traction while sealing
Water-Repellent Barrier
Creates an immediate water-beading barrier. Rain, puddles, and moisture roll right off, preventing water damage and erosion.
Grease & Oil Blocker
Blocks oil from vehicle drips and outdoor grilling from soaking into the surface. Easy to wipe clean after sealing.
Color Enhancement
Intensifies natural stone, concrete, and brick colors, giving surfaces a fresh, vibrant look without altering surface character.
Long-Lasting Protection
Apply once. Enjoy for years. No need for constant re-coating. Resists salt erosion, UV damage, and heavy outdoor wear.
Seal a driveway before the weekend is over.
Prep the surface
The surface must be solid, dry, and completely clean. Remove all oil stains with GreenEZ Grease Be Gone before sealing. Repair cracks, apply caulk to joints if needed.

Common questions
FAQ
Everything you need to know before you start your project.
How long does Color Shield™ last?
One application lasts several seasons under typical conditions. In high-traffic areas or harsh climates (freeze-thaw cycles, heavy salt use), reapply every 2-3 years. Water should still bead off the surface after sealing. When it stops, it's time to reapply.
Do I need to remove the old sealer first?
If the old sealer is peeling, flaking, or failing, it must be removed before applying Color Shield™. Use GreenEZ Floor Stripper to remove old coatings. If the surface has never been sealed or the existing sealer has fully worn away, clean and apply directly.
Can I use it on a BBQ patio or near a grill?
Yes. Color Shield™'s grease and oil blocking is ideal for BBQ patios. Clean heavy grease from the surface with GreenEZ Grease Be Gone before applying, then seal. Grease from outdoor cooking will sit on top of the sealed surface and wipe clean instead of soaking in.
Is it safe for the environment and around plants?
Yes. The formula is non-toxic and eco-friendly. Safe for families and pets once fully cured (48 hours). Protect nearby plants and landscaping during application with plastic sheeting, as the wet formula can affect vegetation. Once dry, it poses no risk.
What temperature do I need to apply it?
Apply between 50°F and 95°F. Do not apply in direct sunlight or when rain is forecast within 24 hours. Ideal application is on a dry, overcast day. Surface temperature matters more than air temperature.
How many gallons do I need?
Coverage is approximately 250 sq ft per gallon per coat. A standard two-car driveway (400-500 sq ft) typically requires 2 gallons for two coats. Measure your surface, multiply by two for the double coat, then divide by 250.
