1.Prepare the Surface:
- Ensure the surface is clean and completely dry before sealing.
2. Mix the Sealer:
- Gently shake the container to mix the contents well and ensure even distribution.
3. Application:
- Using a Brush or Roller:
- Use a brush or a ¼-inch nap roller to apply the sealer.
- Apply two thin coats rather than one thick coat for even coverage.
- Using a Spray Gun:
- If using a high-volume low pressure (HVLP) or low-volume low pressure (LVLP) spray gun, ensure the area is well-ventilated.
- Wear a mask to avoid inhaling the spray mist.
4. Safety Precautions:
- Wear a suitable cartridge respirator if applying the sealer in poorly ventilated areas to protect against potential respiratory irritation.
- Always use protective gear to ensure safety.
